New Delhi, 29th January 2018: Loads of Bollywood music coupled with some interesting music curations and gigs marked the Delhi edition of the Gaana Bollywood Music Project as the curtains came down on the Asia’s largest Bollywood Music Festival at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium grounds in Delhi on 28th January 2018.
The festival was curated by Event Capital, (a Laqshya Media Group Company) and TM Talent Management.
This year Bollywood Music project saw line-up of some of the finest singers of the country, Comprising of over 50 iconic artistes, supported by over 200 musicians on multi-stage concert.
The festival showcased an array of music genres like funk, qawwali, commercial, folk, punjabi, rap, sufi and pop.
After a great show on the first day where the which saw some renowned singers like Farhan Live, Sachin Jigar, Guru Randhawa, Meghna Mishra and many more, the Day 2 of the festival kick-started with an instrumental jugalbandi of flute, keyboard n morchang, dholak & drums followed by a mesmerizing performance by Kutle Khan.
He performed songs like Kesariya baalam, Sanu ik pal chain na aawe, Kinna Sona tenu etc; The stage also saw performances by Zublee ft Gaurav Dutta & Goldie Sohel, Shilpa Rao with Dhruv Sangari and Kutle Khan.
Singers Aditi Singh Sharma, Anusha Mani, Shilpa Rao and Shruti Pathak performed a special gig called Woomaniya which showed the woman power of the music industry.
They performed songs like Tera Rasta, Gulaabo, Mar Jaawaan, High heels, Sooraj dooba and many more.
Later the stage was taken over by renowned sufi singer Richa Sharma who mesmerized the audience with her songs Ni mai samajh gayi, Sajda ,Billo rani, Om shanti om, Dama Dum Mast Qalandar.
Amidst all this, stage 2 was bewitched by some of the young singers of the music industry like The Suyansh Project, Mellow D, B Praak, Gurnazar and Yuvraaj Hans.
The stage 2 was taken over by the debut performer the famous lyricist and singer Amitabh Bhattacharya who performed some of his favourite numbers like Iktara, Channa Mereya, Zehnaseeb, Bulleya and many more.
Shamali Kholgade wooed the audience with her performance on songs like Pareshaan, Raabta, Lat Lag Gayi, Baby Ko Bass.
The festival scaled new heights when when audience witnessed singers Benny Dayal & Funktuation. Ft The Horn Flakes performed on Disco Disco, Locha E Ulfat.
He also performed an acoustic meldey of Kaise Mujhe, Tu Meri Dost, Enna Sona, Nazre Milana.
On this occasion Swaroop Banerjee, CEO, Event Capital, said, We thought Bollywood Music Project had found its home in Mumbai, but the love Delhi has shown this season is phenomenal. 18000 people on the first day, over 15000 people today. 200 musicians, 50 artistes representing 6 genres of Bollywood have repeated history in the capital. The team at TM Talent Mangement and Event Capital are indebted to this city for showering us with their undying love for bollywood music and BMP.
The audience was spellbound by the multi-talented and versatile Vishal Bhardwaj’s voice and songs.
The participants got a month’s time to customize the Honda NAVi in their own unique way under the guidance of Customania mentors Yogi Chhabria and Mukul Nanda.
The National winner of the campaign was rewarded with a grand prize of Rs 2 lakhs and also gets tos showcase the winning customized NAVi at the 2018 Auto Expo, the biggest automobile extravaganza in the country.
